Today is April 20th, 2021 (4/20). On a traffic stop today on South Burlington Avenue we came across more than the 4/20 celebration with two out of town residents. The passenger of the vehicle gave a false name and had an active warrant for his arrest. The driver and passenger were both arrested for possession of controlled substances. There was almost one pound of methamphetamine, one package of cocaine, THC wax, marijuana, a scale, packaging material, paraphernalia, and currency. Great job Officer Barron with the traffic stop and Officer Thayer for assisting!
