Josep Maria Carbó - Lectura y Rock & Roll Saturday October 17th - 7:00/9:30 pm Carrer Barra de Ferro, 8 We live in a world marked by speed, immediacy and an excess of stimuli. Between obligations, work, worries and endless scrolling, taking a moment to stop has almost become an act of resistance. Lectura y Rock & Roll portrays those moments we reserve for ourselves: reading a book, listening to a record, getting lost in a museum or simply enjoying a moment of calm. The exhibition embraces the pause as a way of regaining balance and disconnecting from the noise of everyday life. Books, music, vinyl records and art thus become spaces for freedom, concentration and discovery. And rock & roll appears as a symbol of rebellion: a way of going against the current and asserting our right to stop. Because stopping can also be a form of resistance.

Great opening ! @pop.art.pov Trash & Beauty Special thanks to @bcn_gin & @fevertree_esp for the gin & tonic And @guillaume.salafranque for the video

Today I’m bringing sound into the world of visual art. 🎛️🖼️ For tonight’s exhibition, I prepared a special 3-hour eclectic set inspired by the concept of the exhibition, the artworks and the space itself. As a DJ, producer and artist, I really love working at the intersection of art and sound. For me, this is an opportunity to translate the ideas, emotions and atmosphere of the artworks into music and create another layer of the experience. I’ve always loved art, so projects like this are especially exciting for me. Now everything is ready. Time to bring it to life. Art × Sound × Space.

Mark Rox first exhibition in Barcelona Trash & Beauty Saturday 5th of September 07:00 - 09:30 PM Passatge del Crèdit, 4 - Barcelona With the kind collaboration of @bcn_gin & @fevertree_esp for great gin tonics ! Music dDj @karni.vlad With Trash & Beauty, Mark Rox blurs the boundaries between two worlds that seem to stand in complete opposition: luxury and waste. Jewelry, cars, rubbish, and discarded objects become part of the same reflection on the value we assign to material things. Through his distinctive visual language, built on accumulation and intricate detail, the artist transforms both precious gems and everyday trash into richly captivating compositions. What first attracts the eye through beauty gradually reveals a more ambiguous reality. In this series, Mark Rox questions a consumer-driven society where today’s most desirable objects often become tomorrow’s waste. The line between the precious and the worthless is ultimately defined by the way we choose to look at them. Without offering definitive answers, Trash & Beauty invites each viewer to reflect: what truly gives an object its value? Its material, its function… or simply the meaning we choose to give it? #markrox #bcngin #bcngin🍸💙❤🍹 #fevertree #fevertreetonic #artevistasgallery #exhibitionbarcelona #artbarcelona #streetartbarcelona

New artist at the gallery. Welcome to @noquedatinte and her work ❤️ Marina Salazar (Barcelona) is an artist, designer, and PhD researcher, as well as the founder of the creative studio No Queda Tinte. Her artistic practice focuses on hacking everyday objects and reimagining discarded porcelain figurines, transforming them into pop-activist sculptures infused with irony, social critique, and glitter. Through her project LOVJECTS, Marina rescues forgotten objects—ornamental knick-knacks (“pongos”), domestic figurines, and religious iconography—and turns them into contemporary icons that merge kitsch aesthetics, humor, and critical thinking. Her work celebrates reuse as both a poetic and political act, offering an affectionate yet subversive perspective on material culture and our collective imagination. These sculptures transform fragile, passive objects into vibrant, colorful statements filled with eroticism, humor, and meaning. They raise questions about value, memory, and cultural identity, while blending domestic nostalgia with pop empowerment. The result is a body of work that functions as a manifesto for a new artistic sensibility. Among her best-known creations is La Tetamundi, made for Spanish singer Rigoberta Bandini, a powerful symbol of femininity, diversity, and empowerment. The self-proclaimed Mother of Pongos and an advocate of « brilli brilli » as a way of life, Marina describes herself as minimalistically baroque—passionate about contrasts, creative challenges, and the magic hidden within everyday life. Each piece is both a declaration of love for forgotten objects and an invitation to transform the world through irony, tenderness, and a fresh perspective. #noquedatinte #marinasalazar #artevistasgallery #popart
