I'd like you to meet Wes…

A University Lecturer, Administrator, and Author, who took my Building a Second Brain course a few years ago.

I bet you can relate to their struggle:

"Until I took this course, I was often literally holding my breath, hoping to remember all the moving parts, hoping to not show up and be too unprepared, and dreaming of the day when I would have more time to work on my own projects."

Now, let me ask you a question:

How has Information Overload become a normal part of your everyday life? (like it did for Wes)

Somehow, we just accept that we have too many things on our minds nearly all the time, that we'll be interrupted continuously by one emergency after another, and that we have no choice but to put up with it all.

But I don't accept it. I know there's another way. And I've seen people like Wes make the shift time and time again.

It's actually quite simple:

Write down everything on your mind
Identify the things that are active right now
Choose which ones need to be done today
Do one of them at a time
Complete one thing before moving on to another
Rinse and repeat

This is called "personal productivity." It's not rocket science. It worked thousands of years ago, and it works today.

But here's what most people miss: What allows your mind to be clear and your day to feel effortless is having an external system that is taking care of the details.

At any given time, I have multiple ambitious projects going on.

But I wake up each morning with absolutely nothing on my mind. Not because there's not a lot to get done. It's because I have systems tracking all of it for me.

My workload doesn't reside in my mind. It resides in my systems. Which means it can grow as big as it wants without impacting my stress levels or peace of mind.

It's not about an app; it's a system of apps, habits, techniques, and mindsets working together. This is where the information you encounter gets systematically organized and applied to push your projects and goals forward.

Once you make the shift, you'll be amazed at just how much bandwidth you get back. You'll be surprised at the things you can imagine and create and achieve when your biological brain is not burdened by TMI (Too Much Information) and the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) it produces.

Here's what Wes said after they implemented this system:

"Now, within the span of 6 weeks, I feel completely different not just about my projects and creative output but about all of my work. It is just what I needed. And just in time.
