New Feature: Republish Curated Content with Your Own Domain

Curating high-quality content from around the web is one of the most effective ways to keep your audience engaged. But when every link leads back to someone else’s website, you lose out on valuable branding and traffic. With RSS.app’s new partial URL replacement feature, you can now republish curated content using your own domain. No coding required.

Why This Matters

Imagine embedding a news feed on your site or sending a daily email roundup. By default, the links point to the original sources. But what if you want those links to go through your own domain—like news.yoursite.com/article-title? Now, with partial URL replacement, you can do just that.

How It Works

1. Create your RSS feed using our RSS Generator.
2. Go to your feed’s Filters tab. Scroll to Advanced Rules to Modify Posts and click + Add Rule.

3. Select Replace URL Substring from the dropdown.

4. In the first box, enter the portion of the original URL you want to replace.
5. In the second box, enter your branded domain path.

Now, all links in your feed will point to your domain instead of the original source!

Common Use Cases

  • Branded News Hubs
Build a resource center where curated links appear to originate from your domain.
  • Email Newsletters
Make curated articles appear as internal links in newsletters to increase trust and CTR.
  • Affiliate Pages
Replace URLs with affiliate versions to monetize curated content.
  • Internal Tools
Redirect content through internal tracking URLs or analytics gateways.

Final Thoughts

Republishing content through your own domain not only reinforces your brand, but also gives you more control over the user journey. Whether you’re running a media site, a niche blog, or a community newsletter, partial URL replacement makes your curated content feel like a cohesive part of your digital ecosystem.
